Don't get me wrong though, I enjoyed OVA 1 and 2, they were truer to the characters and their feelings, personality ect. but if you have read the manga and you know that Chihaya loves Kagetsuya more than anything else or anyone else then you would understand my dislike of Messiah's concept and OVA 3 and 4. It just chaps my hide because they took a beautiful thing like Chihaya and Kagetsuya's love and twisted it. So the whole thing wasn't horrible, just 3 and 4.

I'm sorry, Earthian OVA 3 and 4, I loathed everything about it. Everything! I loathed the concept of Messiah, I loathed the intentional tension these episodes tried to inspire between Kagetsuya and Chihaya, I loathed Chihaya's black wing obsession which he was totally over by the end of the manga (he wasn't even nearly so wishy-washy in the manga), I loathe that it ignored the black angels of Earth and because of this Messiah suddenly becomes unique. Just very disappointed with it entirely.
