Richard David Kann Melanoma Foundation

The mission of the Richard David Kann Melanoma Foundation, a 501 (c)(3) not-for-profit organization, is to save lives by educating the public about sun safety, prevention, and early detection of skin cancer (especially Melanoma). The Foundation has expanded its educational activities to include a student-based program called Students Against Melanoma (SAM). SAM is committed to empowering young people to lead education and prevention initiatives in their schools and communities. SAMs approach involves students delivering sun safety messages to their peers through school and community based activities.
