@fullmoviestation he's using a tilt-shift lens, it creates a sharp slice of focus, similar to when our eyes look at close, miniature objects.

@fullmoviestation i think it has to do with the focus in the middle horizon of the video. notice how the top and bottom are slightly blurred but the centre plane is very sharp. it looks fantastic.

@japanbrats it's quite simple because you use a tilt shift lens to do this. you're just tilting the lens so that the sensor changes position and thus the depth of field.
