Here's the of regular programming, and the start of "nightlight" service on WCVB-TV 5 in Boston. As with every other Boston station, they did nothing to celebrate the end of analog.

I wished they did the old fashioned signoff like the good ol' days. And I am not surprised that WCVB aired this since most people who watch a Hearst owned station are poor to very poor, and not really intelligent, or can't really grasp a story without being too "layman". Their newscast is geared to an audience with an IQ much less than room temperature, The way Susan speaks to the viewers is lot like herself and her hair!
I can't believe the final moments went from the cool Elvis Costello to the old sea hag.
