Real TKD as a martial art do have their hands up but its just this sparring u c here is more of competition sport than combat sport. and apperantly in this rules it empasizes to only do straigt punches and no full power punches.

TKD is probly worst martial art for a REAL fight... I have respect for all MA but TKD if your not fight using TKD rules you cant win... What style ever is say, dont put your hands up =P USA boxing, Karate, Kung fu, Muay Thai Savate, Krav Maga, Pancration ALL is have hands up... Maby TKD should take a hint from every MA in the world that they need PUT YOUR HANDS UP!!!
