Sorry, I was too hasty in saying that...I really haven't played around with it much yet--I tried to play a large AVI video from a USB card reader and it was glitchy so I was probably doing something wrong.
On bootup: Windows bar at 15 secs., login screen at 40 secs., desktop all done by 1min. 5 secs.
Shutdown was annoying 30 secs. so will need play around and fix that.
