Mr. Funky Fingers......Big Ups to You and Boondock. You give good advice, most of these would-be producers are streering the young cats generation in the wrong direction. I had to experiment with software and hardware to see what works better for me and keep my workflow consistent. I stuck with hardware. The thing with FL Studio is they use the same soundfounts when you pull something up on YouTube all these dudes beats sound the same with either the Zaytoven Sound or Lex Luger Sound.

hey man, nice vids! i agree about how there are too many choices for hardware and software these days. i run ACID Pro and use an Oxygen 8 v2.0 to control MIDI and couldn't be happier. it really is all about just picking one and going with it. good job!
you say it how it is dude, awesome

hey man i love my hardware but the 500 has a pretty small screen to sample from and id like to use some software with my mpc via usb/midi interface..can u throw any suggestions with composing using software and an mpc? the problem is that mpc's and a mix of software is not well documented anywhere..

Also, if u do decide to keep your mpc and want to add software too, I do recommend FL Studio to use as well.
