He is certainly free to have his own view.....but a bit of studying will cure his critical viewing angle. If we judge the book by its cover, we may never read the book.

A safe is a horrible parallel to a constitution. New metals and locking mechanisms yield better safes, ergo why they become dated. However, humans 300 years ago are the very same as humans are today. They are rational animals who contain a heart and lungs and who cannot thrive and be productive without certain rights and under certain forms of government. That, my mistaken friend, does not become dated.
Also as a side note, rehearse a little better next time and improve lighting.

@Jynx92 You are correct in that humans remain the same (more or less) through time. Their tools change. As with the safe, which is a tool to protect valuables; a Constitution is a tool used to protect rights and create forms of government. As better locking mechanisms make better safes, better and stronger guards within a Constitution make better governments. A safe without a closed and locked door is as useless as a weakened and unenforced Constitution. Remember the USA Founding Charter.
