Hi. I am 15 from UK also, i had alot of little motor bikes and big bikes. They are quite dangerous yes, but are very fun to go for a wee cruise about.
I am moving to Australia and i am going to get a bike there also.
I would get a car first thought ( UK weather ) lol.

They are a blast to ride. Many of the owners ride 600cc and larger bikes but still love the Monkeys and Dax's.
We just had another ride two weeks ago.
In QLD, you need an unrestricted car license for the 50cc bikes or a motorbike license for larger than 50cc.
Learners can curently start at 16 years old. They then get a provisional license.
Before you can apply for a motorcycle learner licence, you must hold a provisional or open car licence for at least 12 months.

Abolutely you can register them. The pre-1975 bikes just need to be compliant with lights, horn etc. I think they also must be on an import register of some sort (Frame numbers). The post 1975 bikes that have ADR compliance plates have no problem if compliant and safe etc.
