diligent? as a Korean I think this is way one-sided. it's true that Koreans tend to leave "going to the hospital" as a last resort because that's just cultural difference, but still they don't think of it as diligence. for school kids don't want to miss a lot of class and hw. for workers, missing too much work could be a problem but they don't go to show that they're diligent. the supervisor might not understand and etc. there are always other reasons.

@tokee1234567 I'm sorry if this video offended you. It was not my intention to offend anyone. I love Korea and I still live here. That said, this is an actual conversation I have had with my co-teacher. Almost word-for-word. So, these are truthful standards being practiced in Korea. I hope you can understand my position and that this video was made "all in good fun" to entertain the foreign teachers to have had experiences similar to this.

Turns out that in Korea, hospitals are very commonly gone to in dealing with minor health concerns. My host mom would always ask me if I wanted to go to the hospital when I had a headache or something of the sort. ~the more you know~
