OK, let me restate what I said. What I meant by that is not necessarily the people who are looking to be a PA. More or less the people who will see this video who may be potential patients to PAs. Again, it does not take much to convince somebody that someone is incompitent, it takes more to get them to believe they are compitent, especially after seeing something like this. I feel that you fail to see the potential harm, and slander that is within this video.

I have nothing against the film itself, and maybe this is becoming a bigger deal than it is worth. I guess if you could appreciate the hard work, and struggle it has been for PAs over the last 30 years or so to make a name for themselves, and get the respect and recognition the field deserves, you may have thought twice about making such a film.
I guess a question I have, like someone has asked, is why PAs? Im just curious. Thanks!

I don't have anything against the profession at all. In fact, PAs I know are more open to complimentary/alternative medicine (of which I approve) and are less prescription-happy than most physicians. I was combining and lampooning things I believe in (like PAs and 5-Element acupuncture) and things I don't, like applied kinesiology. I would sincerely hope that no one (PA or prospective patient) would come to YouTube, particularly my comedy series, for serious medical information.

That's not the point I was trying to make. And how exactly does it make you fear for the 'field' if someone were to take the opinions in this video, and start to think that PA's are incompitent? Also, I am getting the sense that you took my comment as an attack on you personally. Let me clarify: I was simply warning people that the opinions of this film are just that, and that they should not take what is said in this clip seriously. Did you intend for it to be serious? No? Then there is no prob

What makes me "fear for the field" is that if current or potential P.A.s need your warning to recognize this video as a farce, then you all suffer from a frightening lack of discernment
