She's one of the actors who can really SING - she doesn't need autotune etc. like many other modern artists. She just sounds beautiful, even or especially live on stage.
And well ... please stop comparing ALexandra with Leona, or anyone else ... music is like art and both Alexandra and Leona are AMAZING. It's of no importance who is "better" because they sing their songs on a different way.

Five million people voted for her to win, she won the X Factor convincingly and considering just how good the contestants were in 2008 as compared to previous and now present X Factor competitions it shows she was the best.

StaffysGal you got it....I recently came across Alex music and sitting here in Toronto, Canada I thinks she rocks. Singing Hallellujah and winning is a gift from God and regardless of what anyone say, they can't take that away from here. So lets all be happy and watch her grow to stardom.

Everyone who thumbs down on good comments are probably between the ages of 13-16 and go crazy for JLS. You think it's OK to sit there and slag Alex off and say how much you hate her, but one person says "Oh I dont like JLS" you lot are on them like a fly on shit and attack them for it. Don't be so hypocritical, you only don't like her cos you DO like JLS. Get over it, she won. She's an amazing singer. (This isn't all JLS fans, just some I've cone across before)

Okay, I admit i didn't want Alexandra to win- not for her voice but simply because i liked JLS better, but if you don't like her, then don't watch it, don't just slate about her for no good reason. She won because the majority wanted her to, because let's face it- she's gifted. So everyone needs to quit bringing her down, because it's hypocritical seeing as we voted her to win ourselves.
