Ramayan is a tale for every generation. It is multi-layered, multi-faceted, multi-dimensional... and this new daily version of the timeless classic has been interpreted to cater to the taste of a shining, modern India. Television is all about great stories well told, and for us, Ramayan is India's greatest story ever and we hope to re-tell it in a compelling, entertaining manner.

  • @IdentifiablePerson ~ Quote:- "...Many scholars say that the Black Madonna is a link to religions that existed long before Christianity..." There are well over 500 in Europe. The great cathedrals such as Chartre and Notra Dame were erected in Her honour. Monks on Mount Athos have prayed to Her, 24/7/365 without cessasion for well over a thousand years. They do not allow women on the island, because the monks fear they might offend their Deity. Rishis still exist all over the world,.. right now!

  • @WarzSchoolchild But we do not see rishis like Balmiki or Byasdev any more. What happened to them? They acquired following powers: (1) extended their life to over 1000 years and they could (2) see past, present, and future (3) see anything at any place from anywhere (4) simultaneously exist at more than one place (5) heal anyone from any kind of sickness (6) curse and bless anyone with results etc. We do not see such rishis any more. Did foreign invasion destroy that knowledge?

  • @IdentifiablePerson ~ Dr. Jagadish Chandra Bose, demonstrated his "Semiconductor" circuitry, that operated at over 80 Gigahertz. to The Royal Society well over a century ago! H.M. Queen Victoria was very impressed! (I am sure that today Her Majesty would have been 'ammused' by current developments!;?) If you use your discretion when surfing the internet, I am sure you will make good progress. The sacred is never destroyed! and the profane is constantly destroyed! ...so have no fear for India!

  • Balmiki is a real guru, very respectable, and honorable. It will take several incarnations to become a person like him. I do not know if we can find such persons any more in India or not. If any one has any information about any existence of such persons in anywhere in India, would you please let me know? Is there any Ashram like this in India? Is capitalism destroying India?

  • HEART-BREAKING. Ram talking to sita is so sad.
