I grew up on the album as well. My dad brought it home when he was stationed in Germany in the late 60's... I'm 40 now and can see myself as a child, playing this record while wearing my cap-guns... Music is a great escape...

Thanks for the memory. This LP and and a Johnny Cash one were the very first ones I bought with my own money from my allowance. I bought it at Woolworths i Wichita Falls, Texas in 1965.
