I dont think the new Asus Eee PC 900 has a data slot, but im posiive the old one does. Im using the old one now.

how about its performance running skype (using built in camera) ????
does it run smooth or are there any issues (celeron 900MHz instead of atom 1,6GHz) ????

The 20gb is also slow.

Go with the Asus Eee 900 w/20Gb SSD (avoid the 16GB, it is very slow). Get your 900, invest $35 for a 2GB RAM stick, and then another $50 or so for a 10,400Mah extra battery - and Vola! You will have a premium little computer.
Stick a 128mb SSD in it next year when they become affordable, and maybe a bigger RAM stick also when they come out.
Otherwise, an external 120Gb USB HDD is also a good idea to carry around lots of extra data.

Guy's... a bit of advice please... I want a small Mini Laptop for College this year to use every day. But i don't know whether to get this but with a 20Gb SSD or do i get the base model ACER ASPIRE ONE. Thanks for your help... Ryan xxx
