A beautiful indian-summer day on german highway A9. Great for a legal race between a Kia and a VW (both Diesel). Thanks to the driver of M-EN 2419. Was great. A9 from Hermsdorf via Eisenberg to Naumburg. Natalia is a little scared of the speed (used to polish roads only)

  • motor mod time ;) lol

  • im golf sitz bestimmt ein opa

  • my dad just bought one last October 2009 it was a 2.0 CRDi with turbocharger and its quite fast it went 0-100 km/h in 7.6 seconds I was amazed i actually thought that it would go for 10seconds ( by the way my car was automatic with sportmode or manual mode). last time we went for a trip my dad was driving it a very sweet ride he was falling asleep and did not notice he was running already 210 km/h at 3.6 rpm. It was quite amazing.

  • Well, i bought one in Semptember 2009 and until now, the car works fine with no problems.

And the engine responds pretty good for a car with 2.5 tons!!

  • We need a big choice of British, German, Japanese & American 7 seaters because of our huge school-run-mum culture. Most our cars are MPV these days. In the UK we have a lot of 5-seat MPV's for school run mums which are slightly more spacious versions of small family hatchbacks. They are pointless cars, its like we have a Ford Focus hatchback & a Ford Focus C-max which is the exactly the same size as a Focus but its noticably taller in height with more headroom & has a bigger cabin but same size

  • Wow plenty options for 7 seaters there , i just bought sedan Mazda protege model used car, when i found 7 seater brand new diesel then im gonna change.

  • Over here in the UK we are spoilt for choice on Turbo Diesel 7-seaters. We have Peugeot HDI, Citroen HDI, Renault DCi, Fiat JTD, Ford TDCi, Vauxhall CDTi, Seat TDI, VW TDI, Kia CRDi, Hyundai CRTD, Toyota D4D, Mazda, Nissan DCi, Honda CTDi, Mitsubishi DI-D. All of those manufacturers do 7 seat MPVs & there are more avalible that aren't listed. Yeah, i'd wait next year & see whats new or consider a used model maybe?

  • yeah I was thinking the same thing, it doesnt have enough power to pull full of load ppl, but seems to me the diesel version wouldnt be available very soon or even will not be available. And I just found out that Holden Captiva SX 2WD CRDi was also Korean origin. Thanks for the thought anyway. Im still waiting if any new mpv car coming out next year.

  • If you want the same strong pulling power with or without passengers & an Mpg between 40-50 on the open roads get the 2.0 CRDi Diesel. If you like smoother acceleration with fewer gear-shifts & a less faulty car = Petrol/gas. To be honest, if its a 7-seater Kia I would get a Diesel without questioning it. I drive a 5-seat MPV that is petrol, car manufacturers really shouldn't make petrol MPVs they really are totally useless on a full passenger/luggage payload. The long rev-range doesn't work!

  • If I was in your shoes I would check out loads of other new but second hand 7 seater cars first before considering anything Korean. Check out new used cars with the dealers warranty still on them as they might be well in your budget & they will still de-value at a much slower rate than KIA. A lot of people will buy other new model-used cars instead of brand new korean cars as your finances will suffer badly from the big depreciation hit. My grandads had 3 Kias & has had his wallet hit badly!
