umm u don't haft to do all that just for some eggs! its common sense to just put the old eggs up front and your new egg carten in the back and plus your eggs are dated so just look at the date!

what if you forgot which color is old? one option though is to put all the new ones at the back so you (for sure) pick up the older eggs even with eyes closed. just my 2 cents.

I always mark the "older" eggs with a colored marker, making an "x" on top of the egg. Takes about 30 seconds. I put food coloring in the water when I boil eggs so they are tinted and then I know they are boiled.
