This song was originally intended to be recorded by Joe Strummer in early 2003. Sadly, after Joe passed in December 2002, Mick Jones, fellow Clash guitarist recorded the song for him.

  • @TimeWarper75 thanks :) its good that mick continued it for him i never even thought of looking for it before todays the first time i heard it... was he meant to be doing this one with bono or was that just a rumour? hopefully just a runour :/

  • Saw a bloke who looked like a very poorly Mick Jones in a pub in Cornwall in 88. Turns out it WAS Mick Jones, who was just recouperating from the bought of pneumonia that nearly killed him. Still kick myself for missing out on the chance to buy the man a pint.

    Mind you, had the pleasure of patting him on the back in Derby in 2001 at a Carbon/Silicon gig.
