Here we see Jupiter after processing its image through a computer. A software called Registax is used to sum up all the frames of a video into one final high quality picture. Jupiter as seen directly through the eyepiece of a telescope use to be quite fuzzy due to Earth atmosphere turbulence.

Using Registax we can compensate partially this turbulence and acquire a better final image. This video of Jupiter was taken through a 6 inch amateur reflector telescope on the 28th of August of 2009.

There are several interesting discernible details in the picture as north and south equatorial bands, or some ripples inside them, as well as some ovals on polar caps.
