@Misterlncredible What about that barabus tkr? if im wrong correct me but at half boost it hit slightly over 260... so at full boost im sure its faster than the veyron ss. that new ssc will retake the tittle and the new bugatti isnt faster than the ss. also did transtar or vector complete their 300 mph cars. and what about the mosler mt900 gtr xx land shark with a top speed of 375 without the spoiler and 305 with it...

Sorry to disappoint you, but you're still wrong.
After the Super Sport blasted the Aero TT's record (as revealed on Top Gear last July 2010), the latter has NEVER took it back!
What I'm sure of, is that the SSC plans to retake the record w/ the new "Aero II" slated for 2011. Until that happens, the Super Sport (as of 12-11-2010) is STILL the fastest production car in the world at 268mph as confirmed by the Guinness Book of World Records.

Actually, Bugatti has retaken the "world's fastest production car" title from SSC. Look it up. ;-)
