Mario Kart Wii - September 2008, 1st Competition 1'06"598

September 01, 2008 - My first day highscore of the 9th Mario Kart Wii Nintendo Event (Competition 1 September 01-10, 2008).
On September 04 I improved to 1'04"912 =)

Another Wii Wheel-only competition. This time the task is to drive three laps around the battle course N64 Skyscraper while bomb cars drive contrary to your direction.
Now, the interesting thing about this is that there are a few item boxes scattered between the bombs which can contain a simple shroom, a mega mushroom or a star. It seems to be random which item is picked. So, the best time can only be achieved by getting as many stars and mega mushrooms as possible. In the result, most of the challenge is based on luck...

Yeah, this would be great. But maybe Nintendo allows us to replay the competitions when all are finished and there won't be new ones some day.
