Jane Eyre -Thoughts on Charlotte Bronte's themes of women's lives, family, life, institutions, and love. The poem is a list of reasons why I am addicted to the book -- and every movie, miniseries, musical, knock-off, and Youtube high school project I can find -- about my favorite heroine. • @listentothewhisperer Thanks! - KW

  • Dear Kimberly,

thank you for sharing this video and your keen expression, we could see your connection with Jane. I got the impression "Jane Eyre" is like "your" book. As you are attached to it. How I wish for such a book.

I am also glad you liked my videos.

And.. Have a very merry Christmas :)

  • @01ZaRa10 Many thanks, Zuzana. Fondly, Kimberly

  • This is a very fine poem, and it is well performed here. The details of life are brought to the light in a straightforward, almost defiant way. I think we tend to trivialize the deepest emotions, in fear of being too sentimental, but this is a mistake, because they match the most important parts ot our lives. Merry Christmas.

  • @xensboy Many thanks! I love how you used the word defiant. I think you have uncovered one of the forces of my being...Yes, I like Jane Eyre (And, also, Jane Austen books and movies), because they focus on the details of life which often go by so quickly, we don't notice.
