I love these scenes so much! Kelly & Steve are alway so soulful... As far as her strip club story being "boring"...... It doesn't matter .. Sam looked for something the help him with the pain & found nothing.

The story is the way she distracts him from it .....putting his mind on.. love. "real, lasting & certainly worth fight for" ( A metaphor ..for sure) Jason's thank you at the end partly..was for the relief she brought. Jasam are best!

I love how despite her worry for Jason, she doesn't protest when he asks her to talk to him, and he wants to know what's going on. And, I always get a kick out of the fact that they can make jokes out of the most serious of situations. Jason and Sam joking about what Carlly and Spinelli would do if Jason were to die was pretty funny! Love them!
