Great performance on the Town Hall Party. I guess this was recorded for TV, like the rest of the show, but I've never seen the video of Gene singing this song. Was it lost or something?

  • Good to hear this live, this great version by Gene & Blue Caps (it's them?). When and where is it from?

  • I guess it is from Gene's appearance on the Town Hall Party show in 1958..yes it was with the Blue Caps

  • Cont...it to my surprise, well it was a revelation and a chock at same time as I felt the earth trembled - it was "All Shook Up"! Also recall "Cadillac" (Vince Taylor) and that line "...brand new Cadillac..." I thought in my bad english immature brain that it was "...branjo new..." Hmmm...Branjo, well I made this to a Banjo (instrument) in that cadillac to make any sense at all. Hahahahaha Crazy man, crazy!
