Sheba going after a raspberry

My 22-yr-old Red ear slider turtle Sheba LOVES berries.....I hold a berry & she comes running! In this case it is a raspberry. After she gets it, I put her back in her tank since all turtles need water in order to eat/swallow their food.

adorable! my bf has 2 alabama red bellied turtles and they come up on the dock when he offers them food. then they take a bite and crawl around with thier mouths full untill they realize they need to go back in the water to eat it!

I got a new pet a few weeks ago, it's a Sun Conure. He is sitting on my arm while im trying to type this. My turtle and parrot stay in the room together to give each other company while im gone

Loved your video! I have two RES myself and babysat a 30 RES - funny thing about him is that the people who owned him only fed him the stick turtle food so I put live guppies in with him, he did not know what to do with them for a bit and the newborns would hide in his leg and head holes, everytime he moved they would come swimming out. My two sliders love chicken liver and grasshoppers but I hate fishing their back legs out once the rest is eaten, lol!

choose a smaller turtle.....red eared sliders get to 12 inches, map turtles get 3.5 inches to 8 inches normally...so id get a map turtle
