@tpirman1982 He probably didn't know. Notice how Zebediah seems to jump slightly when the bear first enters. It was probably in surprise. And as the bear leaves, he says "oh my!"

How is it offensive?

As a fellow Canadian I have to say that this is most offending, but at the same time funny. Odd isn't it?

Richard Hunt is the orange lumberjack, right? And who does Henson perform?

I felt the same way when I was a kid. It was a lesson on manners, I guess. When it was shown that bullies were being rude, Grover was often the scapegoat. Makes you wonder if this sort of thing happened to Cookie Monster, thus his love of non-food items. LOL

Looks as though he's having a bit of trouble separating his boots from his feet.

Muppet builder Bob Payne.

Who's doing Zebidiah's voice
This is the greatest show in the whole world. I feel sorry for Grover, for not getting any food at all. If I was there I would have given Grover my last meal, or I would have shared it with him.

Well, maybe that was his brown bear cousin.
Richard Hunt's stereotypical Frenchman steals the scene. "Bohbohboh! Beef stew ees my fayvorahte! Pass de buttear!"
