Yeah, not a Conservative myself but Shapps is certainly working hard. It's difficult to imagine a Lib Dem candidate, and certainly a re-elected Melanie Johnson, making anything like as much effort.

Another non-Tory here who is impressed by Grant's tireless campaigning on local issues. I have lived in Hatfield most of my life and bought a house here about 13 years ago. I appreciate our green spaces and don't want to see them eaten up by new unsustainable developments.

Brilliant, great to see an MP truly acting on behalf of his constituents.I'm not a Tory but hats off to Grant Shapps, wish we had such a hard-working MP (and you won't hear me saying that very often!)
