This is the game I grew up with. It had a few glitches and some saving issues but was so fun and entertaining. It's very true to the book and contains alot of original detail.
I've had it since I was about five or six. Now I'm fourteen and I still haven't completed it. I'm finally gonna sit down and spend all my free time on completing this game now.

Haha, I remember being seven my mum just got back from the bookstore, I being a child looked through her bags and saw a book with a dragon on it...it was called the hobbit, Read it every night before bed until i finished. About 2 years later my mum and I went to a store and I saw the hobbit game, my mum knew i loved the book so she bought it for me I loved it. Ever since i read the hobbit i have loved fantasy. If it wasnt for tolkien fantasy would be almost non exsistant.

@TheNoodleGod2012 no, some play games professionally, some seriously and many for fun and casually. there are different gamers in the world bro.

Call me crazy, but I conisder this to be one of the best games ever.

Out of 40 -_-.. that scale isn't meant to be used like that. You take all the scores and make out an average

@tomcatvelociraptor yeah I found some levels freaky, especially the spiders. They really creeped me out like mad especially when they but their two front lefts up in a pounce position and glided across the area without moving its legs. I just let my brother complete those levels and then open his save game and then save it again as a different save so I skipped them!

@upanddowntwice1 Yeah, this game was really hard. I'm pretty much the same with you, started at 5, trying to complete it at 13. When I was a kid, I'd get scared of some levels and had to get my dad to complete them. :P

for me the major complain is that the game crashes way too often

@upanddowntwice1 Dude, I had the game when I was six, and I loved it. I only got to the wieght lord in flies and spiders. The game messed up my old computer, so my mom wouldn't let me play it, but for christmas this year, (I'm 13) i got a new com puter, and my mom let me play it, and I beat the game in three days. It is still my favorite game.

What software do u use to make these reviews?
The reviewer was somewhat harsh.
I enjoyed The Hobbit game because it enabled a person to put themselves in the story of Tolkien's The Hobbit, but the adventures and challenges are somewhat changed from the book to make it a new and novel adventure while retaining the spirit and charm of the story.
The reviewer is whining about many trivial and unimportant things.

@nightowl8936 Yeah, I realize a lot of the things I said were trivial, but these things brought the game down for me. No, I'm not a professional. I don't try to be. As a fan, though, I want to give my honest opinion of the games. If very specific portions of the game bother me, I will mention them.
Anyway thank you for your comment. Constructive criticism is very much appreciated.

AHAHA. his favorite feature is the abily to change 3 sound settings. Seriously? Wow. I can think of like 3 games that DONT have that.

Yes, I think his favorite feature is a hoot as well. I'm sure he can think of many games that "DONT" have that, and that is probably why it's one of his favorite features about the game.
Besides, I wouldn't take everything he says one hundred percent seriously. Of course he's going to favor the gameplay itself over an in-game option that modifies the game's sound.
Not that he would ever read the comments to his video or anything.
