@3yar1983 The number of cylinders or the type of engine does not determine the car's speed, or the power. The engine only works in moving the wheels, but it has to move the rest of the car with it. If you're able to make the rest of the car lighter, the engine has to pull less mass, and therefore it makes it more efficient and faster.

i'm not in a position to understand why is the new engine 3.5 306 hp faster than the old 4.3L v8 engine, and it's even faster than v8 4.6L !

@kalargyi not really the 2000 ls430 brought everything there is now into the auto market, like the headlights that turn when you do, massage seats, speed following cruise control, memory seats, and intellegent parking, there were over 300 inventions alone just to make the car smoother and quieter. there is honestly a shit ton more

The boring 5 Series is no competition (save for maybe the M5); the bland, dated, recycled A6 is an even bigger joke; and the dated E-Class is laughable. You sound envious of Lexus.
