Here is a review of a small home distiller from Megahome. It is a convenient way to produce your own PURE water at home, and you do not have to go to the water store or buy bottled water again.

Here is a link to the product through from my site:
(The price fluctuates between $165 - $185 shipped)

  • Hi,

I have just got one of these and the first load of water has a sweet/metallic taste to it.

Did you find this yourself in the beginning or at all?

I'm wondering if its a teething thing...

    Thanks for your video.

    Chris

  • @mr2sticks, I don't remember having that problem. I do remember getting a metallic taste a few times. I've drank bottled water that has had a metallic taste. I think it's just a break in period. 2nd or 3rd should be fine with no specific taste at all.

  • Hey, can you put boiled water in the distiller to make it more energy efficient (reducing time it takes to heat up the water)?

  • @mycomputerfund, yes, I put hot water in it to speed it up a little. I want to get the distiller to run off of solar panels. There are a few kits out there that will run small appliances.

  • " H2O the purist form of water" .... no shit Sherlock .you idiot

  • @oldskoolcool1983, hey shithead, I'm referring to water from the tap that most people think is H2O which it is not, it has other crap in there like accumulating rust and sediment from the pipes.

  • @freakzilla3333, kosher salt FTW

  • @freakzilla3333 when i say natural sea salt I mean flakes of real salt from the sea, (not table salt or rock salt, those are bad).
