I have the same problem i can't upgrade my weapon which is very lame and tyrian is very hard to finish if u can't upgrade your weapon even on easy mode.

I would like to have some better controls. :(

The weapons upgrade bug was fixed in v1.04 (available through appStore.

Tyrian!! YAARGH, I used to play that 2p co-op so much! Not sure if I'd like it so much since its touch screen, a DSiWare release with download play would be cool.

I figured by playing the game and watching your demo video that it is impossible to upgrade the weapon levels in the full game mode?
