Last year in 2007 I visited a place in the Himalayan hills of the most western part of Nepal. It is the two villages Khairatola and Saran in the district Doti. The river you can see an some of the pics is the Seti river.

I stayed there for about 2 weeks, talking to the locals about issues that concern change in the caste relations and the labour migration to India which most of the male Doteli participate during their life-times. That was research I needed to do for my Master thesis in anthropology.
