On February 1st, 2013, I fractured my fibula and tore a ligament in my right ankle. I underwent surgery a few days later on February 6th. After having a splint, a cast, and a walking boot, I have now transitioned into a soft ankle brace and tennis shoes. This is a video from the day I was told I could start bearing as much weight on my leg as I felt comfortable. This was the first day I tried walking without a boot, crutches, or any other support. It has been 76 days since I've walked without crutches.

For more pictures, a description of my injury and surgery, and a timeline of my healing process, visit my blog below.
