OUM - Arabesque Dance Co. Bellydance

The swirling, undulating passion of Arabesque Dance Company and Orchestra celebrates the Mother of Arab Music, Oum Kalthoum. Arabesque Dance Company will premiere the brand new production of 'Oum' at the Fleck Theatre, Harbourfront Centre, Toronto, Ontario from February 11-14, 2010.

The only performing arts company of its kind in the world, Arabesque features live acoustic Arabic music and vocals accompanying 18 male and female dancers expressing belly dance, Whirling Dervish and the ritual arts of the Middle East.

Choreography by Yasmina Ramzy. Musical arrangement by Prof. Bassam Bishara.
