I've heard so much hoopla about TomTom! But, almost all the reviews I've read say that Tom Tom's are a pain, and just really a lot of trouble! I think this "Answer Guy" was just excited about his firs GPS, but has not really done his home-work!
I love Megellans! They are; Stupidly Simple to operate! Very Practical! Easy on the Eyes! Follow a Logical / Common Sense Mode of operation, so much so, that my 11 year old son operates "daddy's" gps like he invented it himself.
Get a Megellan!!!

I must say - without any doubt, GARMiN is the BEST. I personally used both tom-tom & Garmin. The models I have used were made in the same year (similar versions). And what we really found that in every single way - tom-tom is real PAIN in the BOTTOM; its one hell useless GPS ever (TOM-TOM).
I am sorry but I dont know why you are recommending this to the viewer anyway. Affordable does not mean that you will need to recommend about some futile thing.

Hi
I have a question, I have a garmin 205 and I borrowed my friend's garmin 260 I deleted the internal memory of my garmin 205 and copied the internal memory of garmin 260 to it the reason I did this is because the garmin 205 does not speak st. name and the garmin 260 does. but now when I turn it on it says Can not unlock maps. Can You Help Me Please ?
