  • I'm always impressed by his candor. He's not a bullshitter. Progressive artists often get accused of being pretentious. Mikael will tell you, he came across the word nepenthe, didn't know what the fuck it meant but he thought it sounded cool so he looked it up and used it as a title for a song. He freely admits that he's not even sure how to pronounce it, with a smile and a laugh. He's very easy to like.

  • It's actually kind of funny how few dislikes this video has.

  • In regards to what he said about his possible solo acoustic album

As a fan of Mikael, Opeth, and music in general, I would love to hear him attempt to do a stripped down acoustic, almost non-top-40s pop album. Something like you'd hear on the soundtrack to Juno, except less cute. I know he would love to just throw 4 chords together and throw down some vocals, and even if it was bad, I'd buy it, and love to hear his attempts. If he doesn't ever do it, sad day, but we still have Opeth. /shug

  • Nepenthe is like the most boring song on the album lol

  • if you know what i mean

  • pigs on the wing ?? I love you man !!!!

  • To believe something is gonna fall from the sky, prevents you froming getting off your ass and making things happen. The poor need to rely on truth and the abilities of their neighbors and loved ones to get themselves out of the mess they're in. If you've done all you can, THEN go ahead and comfort yourself in thinking a god with see your work through. If this god doesn't, you're back where you started from.

  • 4:10 OMG XD

  • sorry what i say earlier!I love that new new album it is like 70`s yes or rainbow ...?
