@pepilindo Who decides how to manage the money that goes to you local grocer, restaurant owner or any service provider (the government is a service provider too). I'm more than happy to give money to a road construction service provider directly and skip the government middle man. I don't worry about good management in this situation because I can always cut funding where as the King owns my property and if he is just or not its all arbitrary. Not good.

there is something called volunteer taxes. where i live(buenos aires) recently the government gave the people the option to stop paying for subsidized electricity if they were able to. those who were able completed a form and send it to a centralized agency and they were billed the full cost of what they consumed.

of course this is full of bulshit in argentina because we are getting into a crisis that would lead to charge the full cost to everybody in a few months... but still the idea is good.

the basic flaws are not in what the king does, it is on the ignorance and egocentrism of the people. as a good king you would have to keep a transparent curatin, so everybody could see what happens on the inside.

as a good king the first thing, the very first thing you have to give people is education, not money.

the human, by nature is egocentric, and because of that maybe we could not archeive an utopia.

it has an optimist view about human nature...personally i wouldn't be that sure that people would spontaneously create a magic goodie goodie society without somebody trying to protect basic rules -civil and political rights- with force IF NECESSARY.the State also gives us educational institutions which teach us how to criticize the State itself.it's nice to know that if somebody threatens you, you have institutions like the police which certainly can do more to protect you than yourself alone

@mandy26lez Except every single Modern Western Nation that Pays for Free Health Care, ends up spending less of a percentage of their Gross National Product on Health care than America does..and by an ENORMOUS margin! Go on, Look it up!..And they have health care systems that are equal or better than our own...Go on...Look it up!.Also, If you're truly against paying for others Health Care then you'd better not have Health Insurance, it's the same basic principal of saving money by pooling it.

@frankensteinmoneymac I'm all for finding some island where all those who want to 'op in' for governent to live and I found just such an island. Its called prison. By the way anarchists aren't opposed to police, fire fighters, roads etc. We're opposed to a violent monopoly where only the government gets to decide policy for everybody. We anarchist will stop opposing your governments if they put down their violent monopolies.
