  • Its either a 38mm or a 40mm, I can't remember at the moment.

    You definately want to be sure that nut is snug

    That is a good point Grazo22. You can over tighten that nut. If your variator makes a screeching noise or loud clicking, you have it too tight! You can use a little blue loc-tite on the nuts to avoid it coming loose.

  • I was wondering the same. I'm pretty sure it is a 38mm or 1 1/2". You need to make sure the nut it re tightened to the appropriate torque 60 Nm as otherwise the clutch with explode and ruin the engine. I have done this :'(
