  • To those wondering about the ammunition. Some of the rounds here are Lapua subsonics. I believe they use a 200gr. projectile and I am not sure of the powder load. When I load, I use a 200gr. projectile and a low bulk density powder. I have been very cautious about loading for sub-sonic speeds (below 950fps to compensate for added velocity from the suppressor). Google "develop subsonic" and you will find some good info. Good luck!

  • Turbefan11 (Cont.): I live in Arizona so the temperature is fairly high at the range and open desert. I found the Surefire to perform the best under these types of harsh conditions. I have put a lot of rounds through this suppressor and have had no loss on performance.

  • I will try to address all the questions posted in a couple of posts (yeah haven't been on youtube in a bit...I know).

Turbofan11: Yes it is the model that fits over a locking mechanism that doubles as a flash suppressor. The model number is Surefire FA762SS. The flash suppressor/mount is a Surefire CA762SSAL/RE. I have shot a few different suppressed .308s and I prefer the Surefire.

  • Wow what a killer gun! I wish I could shoot a firearm like that!

  • @WinstonBurbage Saturday Morning, I am setting up an 800 yard shot. I will be video taping that one as well. If you want to go, give me a ring Bro!

  • @littlecopeman < 343 m/s : <768 mph : < 1126 fps

  • @littlecopeman The speed of sound is 1125 feet per second... so it has to be going slower than that.

  • great job with this video, very well done.

  • What scope is that?

  • Wow huge difference.

  • Nice ricochet there at the end.

  • Love the ricochete at the end
