@Icriedtoday He's a trend watcher. The trends he watches are very disturbing. I can fully understand him freaking out.

The most dangerous bubbles are the ones that you can't see.
What the average moronic economist calls "healthy economic growth" is nothing more than the expansion the bubble created by cheap oil.
That giant bubble is about to pop.

PS: glad your brief encounter with Chesterton wasn't entirely wasted. He's rarely read today (like so many others), but - for me at any rate - his humanity, wit, and plain old-fashioned horse-sense make him still one of the most quotable of writers. Eg:
"Without education, we are in a horrible and deadly danger of taking educated people seriously."
Now, ain't THAT the truth ?
-
Yep - a 'better-educated public' is something we should definitely strive for. Sadly, huge damage has been done to its capacity for critical, well-informed, and independent thinking by a collectivist-minded, morally bankrupt Educational Establishment (on which, read CHARLOTTE ISERBYT ). There is no greater danger to freedom than that posed by our allowing others to do our thinking for us. Very addictive. And very, very dangerous.
Switching off the telly would be a start !

@marvinc999 I was thinking controlled by a better educated public through an improved form of democracy. By free market I mean one that includes the free market in ideas, beliefs and so on i.e. systems of control like communism. After my first short read of G. K. Chesterton I am inclined to say that I am in much agreement with him. I think more urgent today is a new distributism, particularly with the advent of excessive free trade with China, world peak oil and nuclear weaponry.

I absolutely LOVE Celente !
Thank God he never joined the Mafia.
If you Americans ever get tired of him - send him over to England, please: we're very big on 'eccentricity' here - and you don't get much more eccentric these days than by Telling The Truth.
The only difference between American Sheeple and British Sheeple is that the latter tend to drink more tea...........................
...(and spend less money on dental care, of course: nearly forgot that !) -
"guided by moral decision making.............."
And CONTROLLED by Anti-Trust/Monopoly laws with teeth (and men with balls and integrity to enforce them) !
In this regard, I tend to agree with G K Chesterton - who said (in the early part of the 20th Century) that the 'problem' with Capitalism was not that there were TOO MANY 'capitalists', but TOO FEW.
-
@marvinc999 Capitalism will always lead to monopoly capitalism unless capitalism is affectively guided by moral decision making. The free market is eternal and can not be destroyed.
-
NO !!!
What you will see is MONOPOLY CAPITALISM failing US - by destroying the Free Market, and all the small businesses that drive it (or did - once).
It wasn't the Communists (bankrolled by Wall street) who said that competition was a 'sin' - it was that lovely Mr Rockefeller. Why didn't anyone LISTEN ?
-
I'm not disappointed. Another meaningful video vlada. Thankyou. Communism failed and now we will see free market capitalism fail.
Sorry, guys for disappointing you but this is not the place where u will get answers and im not into fairy tales either. Maybe you should write a letter to your congressman.
