I was out there last week and there was a similar storm surge.. so amazing!

The waves are actually quite big it's hard to tell because the video was taken high up on a bank. To put into prospective the rock that the waves goes over at the 2 min15 second part is approx 25 plus feet high. It's not steady 6 foot chop it's 20 foot plus high rollers coming in off the Pacific and after so many in a row a couple monsters come in and put on quite a show.

@SuperRancherWoman , If you are up during a good storm, it truly is unbelievable. You can always contact company listed on this video above, once your up & if it is stormy, someone there will pass along some great storm-watching spots on the coast here. The video above was filmed off a point in Ucluelet,(no better spot to storm-watch) you do have to be careful as last year I was there in March and had to run with my camera to avoid a huge wave.
