I actually hit the 100 yard Ram steel twice! Its a little hard to hear the impacts because of all the shooting.

  • Oh, since someone asked... the steel target is 22 wide x 14 high (feet to head).

  • FWIW guys I have a Glock 17 too... BUT it has a KKM match barrel (since I reload and shoot lead), better sights, 3.5lb connector for a less crappy trigger, extended slide stop, extended magazine release and a magwell. Its a comp gun, but still.... my Kimber shoots lights out bone stock. Go figure ;)

  • what does "off axis" mean?

  • Off-axis just means that the target is not directly in front of the line where I'm shooting. That makes it just a little bit further than 100 yards away.

  • God, I love the silhouettes at the Angeles... makes even the long drive and semi-anal staff worth enduring

  • Nice shooting! I'm happy at hitting targets at 25 yards with a .45 lol

  • omfg what an awesome range!!! lucky guy

i can only shoot paper at mine...

  • Nice shoot Kimber is super accuret.I have kimber tle2 love it . Peace...

  • About the size of what you need to hit on a human torso at that distance. Good shooting! It sounded like 1st shot hit too-or was that another tgt ping?

#3 was left just over rear back, #5 was just left -a little short. Try shooting from rollover prone and I bet you get 100%. Not surprising that a Kimber 1911 shoots. I installed a Marvel bbl. muzzle cone(does away w/ bushing and mates bbl. directly to slide) on a plain one and it shot 1.1 in. at 25 yds

  • I agree. Gives me time to inspect for damage, and make sure they're all sparkling clean. More fun cleaning guns than paying bills

  • dude you are awsome

  • Cool.

I don't mind the activity myself. Then again, I like "tinkering" and fixing stuff anyways, from tearing down my 1911 for cleaning and oiling, to changing the oil of an engine, to repairing VCRs, DVD players, and video game systems.

  • I personally enjoy cleaning any of my weapons.
