Vera reminds me of Mary my grandmother who passed away 21 years ago now. She was loud, (used to embarrass us on buses!) and lacked the common sense that God gave her!. Everything happened to old Mary and gave us grandkids a laugh along the way! She was named after the mother of the god lord, and never let people forget it!

Loved Vera, the amount of laughs she gave us over the years, do miss her character on screen.

It's a real shame that ITV Productions Ltd have been deleting nearly all the other video's posted on YouTube by other users for Vera Duckworth leaving Coronation Street.
For those of you who wish to voice your complaints, ITV and ITN seem to have the same address which you can Google to confirm:
