It took me ages to figure out. Have advanced toggle ON. When the thing comes at you wait until the slow motion thing starts, please a dirrectional arrow FIRST then with your finger still on that same directional button press the roll key the roll key quickly. Then when the red cirles come together on the targets head FIRE! HTH

it was so hard for me to know this . it becomes easy when you know exactly what to do,but it's hard to wait the circle becomes red,i'm very advanced

Practising I reallised HOW the DAMN system works. Essential thing, you have to be aiming, if you like pressing L1 all the time be sure to press it, if not (like me) put the combat mode in Advanced Toggle. Then, you have to start moving (with the weapons out, I repeat) in any direction and then press O. Not at the same time, keep moving and press O.
When she jumps, let go O button and wait until the circle becomes RED, then shoot. And that's it.

i love this move, though i'd love it more if i knew how to do it. it makes me feel stupid when everyone's all 'oh, it's such an easy move' and i can't do it. right now i'm stuck on the damn centaurs.

I got the game for Xmas n i've been playing it since n i couldn't get the hang of this move. 2day i finally did..... im so happy. it is one of the best moves .... i love it
