This is a big lie, why is the owner doing this to this animal? ANy real research reveals this can't be the chimp from the Weismuller/Tarzan films, this chimp is kept in a hot garage in a tract home in desert. This chimp is diabetic and can not paint as owner promotes.

this chimp has been given sugar, sweets, cakes and cookies and diet sodas for years and has developed severe diabetes. The owner lies and says he was the chimp in Tarzan movies with Johnny Weismuller which is a lie. The owner pretends the chimp is an artist but won't let anyone film or see the chimp "painting." The whole fraud is pathetic and people keep falling for it. The chimp is kept in a hot garage cage in a tract home in the desert in sweltering heat. Shame.

This is not Cheeta.This whole Cheeta myth was exposed recently by R.D. Rosen in the Washington Post. The current owner Dan Westfall was duped by Tony Gentry, Cheetas former owner into believing that he was born in 1932 and was the actual Chimp who starred in many films including the Tarzan Movies with Weismuller. He was Actually born in 1960 and has never appeared in any films.
