Contray to my screenname, I grew up in Indiana, USA. I was 17 the summer of 1987, and I can say that this band was a god send. I played the first two albums out! The lyrics and music eased my teenage anxiety and worries like a salve. God Bless The Outfield!

Best song of the "Bangin'" album IMO is "No Surrender". Entire album is stellar though.

@miketheblueeagle Sony-BMG blocked the content. I found ("Better Than Nothing") soon after I posted this message. I hope Sony-BMG features "Play Deep" & "Bangin" as part of their 2 (back to back) albums on 1 CD deal. Those 2 albums belong on one.

Could you please post the excellent album cut "Better Than Nothing" which is also from the "Bangin" album? That's the best overall song from that album. Can't believe they never released that song as a single. Would've been an even bigger hit than "Since You've Been Gone" if CBS Records was smart.
