How tight should I tighten the crank bolt onto the spindle? I heard that if is isn't tight enough, the steel spindle will strip my aluminum crank's contacts, I want to avoid that :P

whats a good crank for skidding all my cranks keep on striping and the pedal falls off

do I need to use a rubber mallet to install the new cranks onto the square spline or just torque them on at leave them at that? I can see that my new cranks aren't on as far as my old cranks.

@epicdooshe yes if its to short cranks will hit the frame, to long your chainline will be off

@SenorDingles sry, I'm a lil bit confused: do I need a lock ring for installing a bottom bracket? some BB cups come with a lock ring

@Eiki7 vintage style ones do use a lockring but its different size then your rear lockring
