Prototype - Offensive powers gameplay - Claws

The Claws are best used as anti-personnel weapons. Being much faster than the Blade but less multi-purpose. They have a quite wide radius and Alex is seen disemboweling his enemies within a single slash - even the more well armoured Blackwatch take a mere two or three hits.

This is however, more likely to be the extent of fully upgraded Claws. Best of all, the Claws' special attack (acquired via upgrade) features the only literal ranged attack at Alex's disposal without a gun. GroundSpike is when Alex punches his hand into the ground, tunneling vast quantities of bio-mass underground and erupting it underneath enemies in the form of massive biological spikes, shattering enemies and Vehicles in its wake (The quantity and size of Spikes are dependent on how long Y is held). The Groundspike also has an epic sized Devastator variant that packs a much bigger punch, and rises so far from the ground it can obliterate enemy Helicopters within range.
