The prototype electric race car being drifted at the Stoneleigh Kit Car Show 2010. The vehicle is a development prototype for the Westfield iRACER which is due to hit the track as part of the EV CUP in 2011. The vehicle uses two 40kW YASA motors, each directly and independently driving the rear wheels.

  • It is direct drive, no gearing what so ever.

  • It is direct drive, the sound comes from the way the motors are driven electrically.

    (btw the caterham is ugly as sin but drives well)
