Behcet's Disease PSA

This is a PSA that I did for the American Behcet's Disease Association.

Behcet's Disease is a terrible malody, one from which I suffer.

I wanted use my notoriety as an actor to create a PSA to bring more awareness to this rare, but dreadful disorder.

Oh, I'm very sorry that your Mother has Behcets. Ir's a very tragic disease and I know that it effects your life negatively. Don't feel alone, it effects everyone who has a loved one with this illness. I know that it's very painful and very frustrating for everyone. When you are a patient and you don't feel like doing things it makes everyone around feel bad. I hope that you'll alway be there for your mother and I pray that soon a cure will be found for us.

I'm not a Doctor, but I was a 3rd year Med student and later a Paramedic before becoming an Actor. My top recomendations about Behcets comes from my own battle with it since 1991. I suggest seeing a Rhuematologist following their advise and above all, avoid taking prednisone or other corticosteriodal treatments on a long-term basis. I am a man who

REALLY knows. Because of Prednisone I now suffer Brittle Bone
